Chapter History

In the Fall of 1998, five brothers got together at the Ramada Inn for the intial meeting of the making of an Omega chapter on the northshore. The brothers were Clifton Arnold, Paul Trotter Sr., Roger Watkins, Joseph Miller, and Mike Neely. After much discussion and more meettings, a decision was made to pursue a chapter on the Northshore. Originally 14 brothers were to sign to be charter members, but only 13 signed. So, on Wednesday, December 2, 1998, in the home of Bro. Clifton Arnold, 13 brothers signed the charter for an Omega chapter on the Norhtshore. These members were Bro.Clifton Arnold, Bro.Robert Cook Jr., Bro.Paul Trotter Sr., Bro. Fredrick Dunne, Bro. Roscoe Crump, Bro.Roger Watkins, Bro.Curtis Jones, Bro.Eric Spann, Bro.Joseph Miller, Bro.Jeffrey McKee, Bro.Mike Neely, Bro.Robert Hicks, and Bro. Danny Philson. The actual charter didn't get mailed to Thursday December 3, 1998. The charter was approved by the supreme council on Saturday December 5, 1998 with Bro. Wendall as the District Representatve. What started out as few brothers meeting at the Ramada Inn from time to time, hence came the birth of Chi Kappa Kappa.   ,
